Top Ten Things to Know about Shiocton Library #2

Number 2-Programs for Children

Tuesday Tales is at 10:30am for preschoolers and their caregivers.  This program offers Early Literacy Development through stories, rhymes and songs.  “Miss Wendy” is our Children’s Librarian who makes this program special.  There is a craft to make that matches the story to develop fine motor skills and creativity.  Children gain social and language skills through playing and working together.

“Check It Out” is on Thursdays at 3:15.  This program is fore elementary students grades K-3 who love Storytime!  We think you are never too old for a great children’s picture book!  At this program, our Library Volunteer “Lou Lou” reads interesting books and has the kids interact with the story as she reads.  Kids can then create a project and have a treat before they go home.

We invite you to stop into the library to see what we have to offer!  Stay tuned for 8 more things you need to about Shiocton Library!
